What we believe

Our purpose is

To Know Christ, to Serve Him and to Make Him Known

We know Jesus through corporate worship, small groups and personal prayer and study.

We serve Jesus through serving others within the church, in our homes, our neighborhoods and our workplaces.

We make Jesus known through sharing our faith with others, developing relationships and loving our neighbors as ourselves.

Our sacramental worship is the most important thing we do. We baptize to convey the grace of God and bring people into His family, the Church. In it, we find the joy of the forgiven life.

We also believe Jesus is truly present in the bread and wine. They are given for us for the forgiveness of sins and bring life and salvation.

The Apostles Creed

I believe in God, the Father almighty,
      creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
      who was conceived by the Holy Spirit
      and born of the virgin Mary.
      He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
      was crucified, died, and was buried;
      he descended to hell.
      The third day he rose again from the dead.
      He ascended to heaven
      and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty.
      From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
      the holy catholic* church,
      the communion of saints,
      the forgiveness of sins,
      the resurrection of the body,
      and the life everlasting. Amen.

*that is, the true Christian church of all times and all places
